It is characterized by many qualities that elevate it from other types of birds, as it is resistant to many diseases resulting from the different weather conditions surrounding it, as it is an easy bird to raise, in addition to its food of low cost, it feeds on grains such as: lentils, barley, and corn , Wheat, ground bread, rice, smoke, and limestone in order to get the salts that his body needs.

Many people eat pigeons, because their meat has a delicious and wonderful taste. Organic compost can also be produced from dead pigeons, and it is widely used in fertilizing orchards, vegetables, melons and cucurbits.

Hatching: The pigeons multiply with eggs and their laying of eggs is not limited to a specific time of the year, as the female can lay eggs at any time of the year, and the female can lay two white eggs, and incubate the eggs for eighteen days, alternating between the parents, and after the eggs hatch, they are completed Caring for chicks by the parents for a whole month.
